The fully assembled SI-10BG Geiger Counter Kit is sensitive to beta and gamma rays. It uses the rare SI-10BG sensitive glass Geiger Mueller tube. It easily detects with clicks and flashes of red light all types of radioactive minerals, radioactive isotopes, old radium watch hands, old lantern mantles, etc and cosmic rays from space. Operates on one 9V battery (not included). Size of PC board is 1.4" x 3.7". Background count here in Arizona is about 15 counts per minute. No case available. Just connect a battery and you are ready to go!
