The Chaney Electronic STEM LED Spirit Card is a fun way to show your school spirit while students hand construct a electronic circuit to illuminate their school logo or team mascot.
Students will use flexible copper tape to connect multiple LEDs to a parallel circuit design. They will have to identify the anode and cathode part of the LEDs and create strong connections in order for the LEDs to light up.
While building, students will learn the basic principles of electricity and simple circuit design while using safe flexible copper tape and LEDs - No soldering needed. The directions are easy to follow and good for beginners.
Each student will receive 2 rolls of copper tape of different widths, up to 5 LEDs, a paper clip to connect the CR2032 coin battery (not included), the 5 x 7" circuit card printed on heavy card stock, and an envelope.
I want this project for my students, how do I begin?
