Large Mems unit has A Vision and unique fabrication and assembly numbers printed on them, plus hand written test results and miscellaneous labels. We are not sure what equipment they were made for but the Mems unit is about 8.8" long x 2.14". The actual "Mirror Mems Active Area" is 0.872" x 0.68". These are being sold "as is" for experimentation and study. They may have blemishes or scratches on the surface of the mirror and other problems. Used - May vary slightly from picture shown. Bright Orange LED features operation from 2.8V to 7VDC. At 6VDC @ 20mA the LED glows brightly and is a true orange color (like an orange citrus). No need for a dropping a resistor if the voltage is under 7VDC. Features diffused orange color 5mm lens. Sold in a package of 5.
This sophisticated circuit board was designed to convert 9-12VDC to a high voltage needed to drive fluorescent tubes such as our blacklight tube or our white backlighted display panel. Simply connect 12VDC to the input terminals, connect start terminals together with any pushbutton switch (not included), and whatever tube you have connected to the output terminals will light up for about 1 minute. Miniature Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) Using LCOS Technology
This was made by Forth Dimension Displays years ago and is a SLM unit using the LCOS platform. Judging by its size, it was probably used for a NTE near to eye application but we do not know. The approximate size of the unit is 1.76" x 0.61" (excluding the side connector). May have blemishes. Sorry no hook up info. May vary slightly from picture. These membrane mirror spatial light modulation units use Mems process to form individually controllable pixels. They were used in high tech optical projection devices holographic data storage devices, etc - however, we do not have any specs or info on these. Each had some blemish or slight defect. We are selling them "as is" for educational study, experimentation or just to look at a very unique high tech item. Size about 3.46" long x 1.66" tall. We have other types too. Forth Dimension Display Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) type SXGA was made for various applications such as near to eye (NTE) applications, medical imagery, virtual reality machine vision projection TV's, etc. We believe these particular ones were based on high-speed ferroelectric liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) platform. A typical resolution was 1280 x 1024. These were made years ago and have blemishes or some problems. They are very fascinating and precision made. We are selling them for study experimentation or just as a gee-whiz high tech item to own. Approximate size 4.93" x 1.04". Sold "as is".
