Made for garage doors this wide gap door alarm switch type PSWDAMS37LG48 consists of a metal bracket holding a heavy duty reed switch with a 48" cable plus an enclosed magnet unit. The contacts on the reed switch close when the magnet is brought within a gap of about 2.5" which is quite a wide gap for a reed switch to operate. Size of metal bracket is about 8.5" long x 0.5". Size of magnet is about 3.9" x 0.52" square. New!
