VA-Z-261A geiger mueller tube made in East Germany during the Cold War. These detect beta and gamma rays and operate on 400 to 500VDC. They will work with our G18410 and the background radiation counts is about 5 counts per minute here is Arizona. Size is about 1.56" tall x 0.42" diameter x 0.625" base flange diameter. Center lead is (+) and outer lead is (-). Even though these are new, some of the black paint on the outside of tube may be peeling or discolored (does not affect performance).
