Complete geiger counter kit allows you to operate it with your GM tube. Operates on one 9V battery (not included), and develops about 450V for use with many common GM tubes. When radiation is detected the unit emits clicking and flashes a bright red LED. Can be used with the LND 712 GM tube to make a very sensitive alpha, beta, gamma geiger counter -just solder the kit and connect your GM tube (we don't supply a GM tube with this kit). We have operated this kit with the following Russian beta/gamma GM tubes with excellent results: SBM-10, SBM-19, SBM-20 and SBM-21. We have also had excellent results using the LND 713 and LND 714 GM tubes. Please don't ask us if a particular tube not listed above will work with this kit as we don't have it in stock and therefore will not be able to answer that question. Size of PC board is 2.1" x 2.1". Kit comes with parts, PC board and instructions but no geiger tube. Requires soldering and we will not accept returns on this kit once the sealed kit bag has been opened. We cannot be responsible if your geiger tube doesn't work with this kit. We just know that if you connect a properly functioning GM tube listed above and have assembled the kit properly you will have a great functional geiger counter!
