As it explores, it emits invisible beams of IR (infrared) light which reflects off any obstacles in its path, including walls, rocks, humans, boxes, etc. Its simple brain and sensor causes the IR Vision Rover Robot to turn backwards and then go forward in a different direction avoiding the obstacle it has detected up to one foot away. Size about 5 1/2" x 6 1/2". Works on any smooth hard surface. Complete with all parts, PC board and instructions. Skill Level 2. This kit requires soldering of components to the PC board while building.
